Our School Parliament was established and modelled on our own Parliament to ensure that our children are not only introduced to the idea of a democracy and British Values but are supported to use their voice from an early age – and know that it will be heard.
Children are voted onto our Parliament at the beginning of every year by the class. They work together with our Junior School Heads of School and an allocated member of staff to design a yearly timetable of events and meetings which covers a range of activities from litter picking to writing to families about important issues to leading on the planning of our International Days.
It is so much more than a badge at ASS…
